Best nursing pillow that has other uses

Boppy Pillow

The Boppy Pillow is amazing! You will find so many uses for this pillow beyond just feeding, although it’s great for that too! The Boppy has a stretchy panel in the middle, making it fit easily around your waist to prop baby up for easier feeding. This is especially great in those early days of learning to breastfeed, or if you’re recovering from a C-section. The whole pillow is washable, so you can keep it looking great for a long time.

The Boppy is also great while baby is learning to sit up. It helps prop baby to strengthen those core and back muscles. It’s also a great way to do tummy time while taking some of the stress off of baby’s neck. The Boppy isn’t particularly cheap, especially if you buy a separate cover, but you’ll find ways to use it well beyond those early infant days and you can definitely get your money’s worth!

My Brest Friend Pillow

The My Brest Friend pillow is great to have when you and your baby are trying to adjust to nursing in the beginning. The cover is machine washable and super soft. The adjustable strap and wrap around panel help you get baby in the perfect spot to nurse in almost any position. The back panel helps mom maintain good posture while nursing so you don’t have the horrible back strain that can come with breastfeeding a newborn. It also has a small pocket in front where you can keep little things you want close by.

The My Brest Friend is great for nursing, and you’ll definitely be happy you have it in the beginning. The only drawback is that it’s not really useful for anything else, and eventually baby gets big enough that you don’t need it anymore. Overall, though, this is the best pillow for nursing.
